**Job Title:** Director, Labor Relations
Summary:
The Director of Labor Relations will lead and advise field leadership and HR colleagues on labor relations issues of strategic importance. They will partner with senior leadership to determine business strategies relative to labor relations impacts and implement operating flexibilities to promote workforce productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to collective bargaining, representing the company as a spokesperson in labor negotiations.
- Oversee daily administration of collective bargaining agreements at assigned locations.
- Support local HR, managers, and supervisors in investigating grievances and resolving them internally.
- Develop and maintain lists of management initiatives and proposals for future collective bargaining.
- Develop and conduct union contract training and general labor relations training.
- Lead union election campaigns and prevention training.
- Manage a dispute resolution program or grievance program.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience managing collective bargaining agreements.
- Knowledge of the National Labor Relations Act and experience in collective bargaining.
- Experience in managing a union election campaign to completion.
- Strong understanding of the National Labor Relations Act and relevant state laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to function in a fast-paced work environment with agility and sense of urgency.
Work Environment:
Work is performed primarily in an office environment with irregular hours and on-call status.
