Job Description
We are a disaster restoration company, we specialize in the mitigation of flood and the remediation of fire, and mold. We seek an experienced Water Mitigation Technician to join our team and play a pivotal role in leading our field operations.
There are so many parts of Restoration some of your Responsibilities will include:
Flood/Fire/Mold Remediation: Operate controlled demolition activities as necessary for water/fire/mold damage restoration projects, performing all work in compliance with industry regulations and safety protocols.
Drying Techniques: Implement advanced drying techniques to efficiently and effectively mitigate water damage.
Job Scoping: Perform thorough evaluations to assess the extent of water damage and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
Moisture Mapping: Utilize moisture mapping tools to accurately identify and document affected areas.
Moisture Meter Operation: Operate moisture meters to measure and monitor moisture levels throughout the restoration process.
Documentation: Utilizing electronic documentation apps, complete detailed and accurate documentation for each project, including work orders, reports, and project summaries.
Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate and maintain specialized equipment used in all operations,, ensuring proper functionality and safety standards.
Customer Communication: Interact with clients professionally, providing clear and concise communication regarding the restoration process, timelines, and any potential issues.
Service Standards: Uphold and exceed company service standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in water/fire mitigation and Disaster Restoration.
- IICRC certification in Water Damage Restoration (WRT) and Applied Microbial Remediation (AMRT) is not required but highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Proficient in the use of moisture meters, mapping tools, and other industry-specific equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the disaster restoration industry.

Additional Information
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour DOE
Schedule:
8 hour shifts but overtime is common since we are a 24/7 emergency response
company. Must be willing to go into “on call” rotation with other associates for
emergency call-outs.
Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
One year experience in water flood remediation project management
License/Certification:
IICRC Certification (Preferred)
Driver's License (Required)
Must pass background check and drug test.
