RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Actively manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Design and execute sourcing strategies to attract highly specialized talent for R&D roles, including scientists, clinical experts, and other biopharma professionals.
- Proactively build and maintain a pipeline of high-caliber candidates for current and future needs, focusing on hard-to-fill and niche roles.
- Oversee relationships with external staffing agencies, ensuring alignment with organizational needs, cost-effectiveness, and quality performance.
- Collaborate across the organization and HR to assess hiring needs and develop robust, forward-looking talent acquisition strategies.
- Track and analyze key hiring metrics to measure success, identify challenges, and inform decision-making.
- Partner with internal teams to enhance the company's visibility and appeal in the competitive talent market.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and implement industry best practices to improve hiring outcomes.
- Partner with HR, hiring managers, and cross-functional teams to foster a cohesive and efficient recruitment process.
- Foster a positive workplace culture that prioritizes collaboration, ensures accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications in HR or Talent Acquisition preferred.
- 12 years of progressive talent acquisition experience, with a minimum of 5 years in the life sciences industry.
- Proven ability to source and hire top talent for highly technical and specialized R&D roles.
- Ability to develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Adept at balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution, actively managing recruitment processes.
- Extensive experience managing external recruitment agencies, including contract negotiations and performance evaluations.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, building trust and collaborating effectively with hiring managers and executive stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and a track record of using data to drive improvements in recruitment processes.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools, focusing on leveraging technology to enhance recruitment outcomes.
