About the Role - The Senior Director, Talent Acquisition, provides strategic leadership for organization-wide talent acquisition (TA) needs, developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy to attract, recruit, and retain top talent. This leader will further develop TA governance, establish standards, and build an innovative employment brand strategy to position our client as an employer of choice. By implementing forward-thinking recruiting strategies, programs, and initiatives, this head of talent acquisition role ensures the organization is well-equipped to meet current and future talent needs in a competitive market, supporting business growth and fostering a people-first culture. With a focus on excellence and innovation, this role will lead the TA team to optimize processes, strengthen and diversify the talent pipeline, and adopt emerging recruitment trends and technologies. The Senior Director of Talent Acquisition will create an operational framework that ensures consistency, compliance, and scalability while driving change management to embed new systems and standards across the organization.

Responsibilities -

  • Leads and delivers a seamless executive search process that effectively sources, attracts, assesses, selects, and on-boards talent for roles
  • Develops talent intelligence and mapping to understand the competitive landscape and opportunities for recruitment.
  • Directs all aspects of executive search strategies, including but not limited to business planning, forecasting, search execution, and business analytics.
  • Understands competencies and success profiles and develops search strategies to target high-level external candidates.
  • Builds direct sourcing capability internally which includes evaluating, recommending and implementing systems, processes, and people, with both a short and long-term talent view
  • Helps streamline decision-making around external and internal talent to create robust and diverse slates to ultimately identify “best-in-class talent for roles across the company
  • Collaborates to understand the existing leadership pipeline, talent gaps, and align strategies to address critical capabilities and develop integrated diversity and inclusion talent strategies.
  • Builds strong and trusted relationships with executives and other cross-functional partners.
  • Partners with, influences, and acts as an expert resource to advise People and Culture and leaders to equip and enable them to execute sourcing strategies, plans, and practices
  • Develops and holds team accountable for metrics to measure effectiveness of processes and candidate experience / outcome. Identify, capture and report on relevant recruitment performance metrics such as : candidate and hiring manager experience, conversion, market factors.
  • Evaluates and advises on the impact of long-range planning and new programs / strategies and regulatory action as those items impact the talent acquisition functional strategies, capabilities, and programs.
  • Partners with and advise business leaders in assessing pipeline and projecting talent needs at all levels.
  • Drives diversity and inclusion strategies and actions for executive recruiting and talent sourcing initiatives
  • Identifies, utilizes, and builds strong relationships with RPO as well as executive recruiting partners and sourcing providers. Ensure providers meet expectations and that the best recruiters in the space are being effectively used.
  • Leads continuous improvement efforts to deliver best-in-class executive recruiting and sourcing processes.
  • Utilize business analytics to forecast talent needs quarterly and annually, supporting strategic workforce planning.

Qualifications - Required Qualifications :

  • 15 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, including leadership roles in high-growth environments.
  • Proven success in building and scaling talent acquisition functions.
  • Experience recruiting healthcare professionals is preferred. Adult or senior living experience is a great asset and highly preferred. Alternative relevant industry experience includes hospitality or retail, with multi-site locations.
  • Deep expertise in recruitment methodologies, passive candidate engagement, and employer branding strategies.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and talent platforms; experience with BrassRing and Workday is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with a results-driven mindset to measure and improve recruitment outcomes.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute long-term plans and implement scalable.
