- All phases of Automotive Repairs and Maintenance
- Good knowledge of automobiles
- Ability to identify problems quickly
- Effective analytical and communication skills
- Good reading, computer, and mathematics skills
- Performing work specified on the repair order with efficiency
- Diagnose and Repair Emission Failures, Engine Repair and Tune Up, Tire Services
- Timing Belts, Transmission and Engine Replacements,
- Steering and Suspension Service, Brake Service and ABS Diagnosis and Repairs, etc.
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
- Interaction between employees and/or customers; explaining diagnosis and needed repairs as required to assist service writer and/or clarify for customers
- Detail-oriented and ability to follow direction.
- Ability to reach, lift and carry 20-75 lbs.
- Ability to stand or walk entire shift.
- ASE Certification(s) a plus
- NC State Inspections Certification (a plus!)
- Must have valid driver's license (no exceptions)
- Must have own tools
- Pay based on experience
