- Analyze new and potential product features and propose plans to help reduce or remove spammy behavior before it happens
- Manage incoming streams of spam reports and spam-related appeals from users and communities to identify developing patterns of abuse
- Work cross-collaboratively with other teams, including Product, Safety Engineering, ML, CX in responding to complex and time-sensitive issues
What you should have
- 1 years of experience exploring data and investigating problems using SQL and data visualization software (eg. Tableau, Looker, Amplitude)
- 1 years of experience writing ad-hoc scripts or automation in Python, R, or a similar language
- Thoughtfulness, creativity, and empathy towards users
- Troubleshooting and investigative skills: we believe in getting to the root of the matter instead of just addressing symptoms

- Ability to tailor insights to audiences who have varying degrees of domain expertise and technical knowledge
Bonus Points
- Experience in online safety, anti-spam, security, fraud, or other adversarial spaces
- Background collaborating with data partners and/or user-facing support roles, such as Data Science and Engineering teams, Trust & Safety, or CX.

- Familiarity with common software engineering methodology including code review, technical documentation, and sprint processes
- Familiarity with ticketing systems. (Ex. Zendesk)
