Job Title : Senior Manager Software Engineering (multiple openings)
Job Location : Riverwoods, IL
Job Type : Full Time
Duties :
Manages software ownership and development from initial concept through continuous improvement. Utilizes tools to support data driven decision making. Telecommuting and / or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
Requirements :
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field and 8 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineering-related occupation.
Position Required Skills :
Position requires 1 (one) year of experience in the following :
- Containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes / Openshift) and cloud providers including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Java, Python / PySpark, Spark, and CI / CD technologies.
- High availability & scalability design, as well as performance monitoring using AppDynamics, Datadog and Instana.
- Machine Learning Platforms and Data Science Technologies including Databricks, Data Robot, Dataiku, Sagemaker.
- Data platforms including S3, Snowflake, Redis, Cassandra.
- Building and implementing API architecture designs using Visio and Lucid.
- Messaging systems and streaming platforms including Kafka, Kinesis, or MQ.
Rate of Pay : The base pay for this position generally ranges between $162,178 to $217,400. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
