What are the responsibilities and job description for the CPI Instructor - On-Call position at Discovery Behavioral Health DBH?
Job Description
As a CPI Instructor, you will be responsible for training all DBH staff on de-escalation and crisis prevention skills, ensuring that they are equipped to handle challenging situations effectively in the milieu.
Essential Job Functions :
- Train staff in de-escalation and crisis prevention skills.
- Provide training and support for Nonviolent Crisis Intervention for the responsible assigned region / facility.
- Prepare and provide CPI training programs, including facilitation of ancillary programs and presentations
- To work closely with HR and operations team to ensure that all delivery and training are completed to a high standard.
- Ensure employees receive proper certification upon completion.
- Renewing CPI certification every two years to maintain their Certified Instructor status.
