What are the responsibilities and job description for the On-Call Instructor position at Medical Me LLC?
Position Overview:
We are looking for a dependable, enthusiastic, and flexible On-Call Instructor to join our growing team! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and has availability to step in and teach classes on an as-needed basis. Instructors will travel to various program sites to lead engaging, pre-designed lessons using Medical Me MD curriculum and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead hands-on Medical Me MD classes for students ages 3–13
- Step in as needed to cover instructor absences or provide support at high-volume locations
- Travel to different schools and program sites with class materials (mileage reimbursement may be available)
- Set up, deliver, and clean up lessons and activities
- Maintain a safe, fun, and inclusive environment for all students
- Communicate effectively with students, school staff, and caregivers
- Follow curriculum and company guidelines to ensure consistency and quality
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Experience working with children (teaching, camp, tutoring, or childcare preferred)
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between locations.
- Flexible weekday availability (mornings, afternoons, or both)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Energetic, positive, and team-oriented attitude
- Must pass a background check and be cps cleared
