Infant and Toddler Teacher

We're looking for a passionate Infant Teacher who genuinely enjoys helping young children grow and learn. It's important that this person has the energy to keep up with the unique needs of babies and toddlers, who each have their own little personalities. We need someone with a calm, nurturing approach who can support each child in reaching those important developmental milestones, both cognitively and socially.

The job involves creating a safe, loving environment where the children can interact with each other, build social skills, and develop confidence. You'll engage with the kids throughout the day, incorporating fun and educational activities to help them learn and explore. Your role will be all about providing the right mix of care, teaching, and play.

You'll be responsible for making sure the children feel secure and loved, which includes everything from following our Infant Meal Pattern to responding quickly to each child's needs. Keeping their play, sleep, and changing areas clean and organized is key. The ideal candidate will be someone who stays calm and patient, building strong relationships with the children and keeping the communication with parents open. You'll also keep track of daily activities through SmartCare and let parents know how their child is doing if needed.

As part of your role, you'll teach basic skills like colors, shapes, numbers, and letters, and help the kids explore their interests. You'll create schedules that include time for physical activity, rest, and play. You'll also be guiding them on how to share, take turns, and play well with others. Positive redirection will be part of your toolkit when needed.
