What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Age Before an After School Teacher position at Discovery Clubhouse?
School Age teacher
As a school age teacher you will encourage growth and development through play, plan
and prepare daily discussions and activities focusing on the weekly theme, foster
imagination, use positive reinforcement techniques, help the children in your care build
positive relationships, and help them grow physically, academically, socially, and
emotionally.
Your mornings will start out running our 5 year old preschool program "Waterford" from 9:30 am - 11 am, after that Monday - Thursday you will run 2 - 3 Preschool breaks for us. On Fridays you will run 1 preschool break for us before your school age class returns, on school holidays/breaks you will have your students full day.
Requirements:
● First aid
● Food handlers permit
● Ability to pass a background check
