We are looking for a highly skilled Product Marketing Manager - User Lifecycle to be responsible for driving adoption, retention, and loyalty of Discovery Education’s award-winning products. Grounded in deep understanding of our products and customers, you’ll design and implement product marketing strategies, programs, and tactics that have a measurable impact on key metrics around product usage and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven and results-oriented marketing practitioner who can work cross-functionally to help scale, execute, and maximize product value for our users.

In This Role You Will
- Build and apply a deep understanding of our target user audiences, with particular focus on teacher needs, behaviors, and preferences to define key messaging and effectively integrate into the user journey.
- Develop and test user segments based on demographics, behavior, and engagement and execute targeted product marketing strategies and tactics that resonate with each audience – leveraging research and insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Design and execute data-driven, integrated product marketing campaigns, experiments, and tactics across multiple channels, including email marketing, in-product messaging, and digital marketing. Focus on onboarding, activating, engaging, and retaining users throughout their lifecycle by simplifying experiences across interconnected products into clear, actionable journeys.
- Build engaging user-focused content that develops product awareness, education, usage and loyalty. Design user experience improvements and create resources that ensure implementation success for Implementation Leader audiences.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects and initiatives between Marketing, Product, Engineering, Research, Product Design, and Analytics teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Analyze and report on performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize tactics and influence key product usage metrics. Share strategic priorities, plans, competitor activities, and best practices to drive effectiveness.
- Drive qualitative and quantitative research to identify new opportunities that improve the customer experience, drive growth, and overcome barriers to adoption.
- Use a variety of tools to ensure activities and playbooks are executed efficiently and effectively, and that customer data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing campaigns and programs that drive user adoption and engagement.
- Strong understanding of marketing analytics and the ability to make data-driven decisions to improve campaign and program performance.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong copywriting abilities and attention to detail.
- Self-starter with track record of successful program management and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of teachers and students.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the education technology industry.
- Expert level proficiency with Pendo, Zendesk, Highspot, Figma, Iterable, Navattic, Rise 360/Articulate, Wordpress, Elementor, Adobe Suite, Vidyard; experience with CMS, Jira, Asana, and Jasper AI preferred
