This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company's locations : Driftwood Golf and Ranch Club, set outside of Austin, TX.
Driftwood Golf and Ranch Club is seeking a Safety & Security Training Coordinator to join the Safety & Security Department. The Safety & Security Training Coordinator is responsible for training, continuing education, and documentation for both existing and newly hired Safety & Security Officer and coordinating training needs with the Operations team. In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee annual re-certification training for all Driftwood Security Officers.
- Develop and maintain the new hire field-training manual.
- Implement training for new department policies and procedures and partner with Human Resources to document all training through Workday.
- Ensure compliance with the DLC Armed Officer Program and Driftwood policies.
- Supervise training lesson plans and provide guidance to Driftwood Security Training Instructors.
- Manage or outsource medical training, including CPR certification, "Stop the Bleed," and AED training.
- Report to the Security Operations Manager (SOM) or, in their absence, the Director of Security.
- Serve as a leader and mentor within the Driftwood staff and security team.

4. Ability to create lesson plans and manage a state accredited training academy.
5. Able to manage and lead staff of training instructors.
