Discovery Learning Center Preschool opened in 2005, and at our core, we are a Christian education facility. Character development lessons are included daily in our curriculum.
We encourage the development of each child through a variety of activities and hands-on experiences. Promoting a positive self-image is our primary goal for each child who attends Discovery Learning Center.
Discovery Learning Center Preschool is seeking individuals who are excited about teaching young children. Are you ready to be a team player and provide the best care for children?
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Responsible for the general and specified supervision and management of children
between the ages of 6 weeks to 10 years.
* Plan, supervise and implement the program for childcare in accordance with the policies and philosophy of Discovery Learning Center Preschool
* Teaching within the guidelines of the ABEKA curriculum daily
* Work collaboratively with other teachers to create a positive learning environment
* Help children become aware of their roles as integral members of the classroom and
group.
* Obtain 30 hours of training per year
SKILLS REQUIRED
* Knowledge and understanding of Texas Minimum Standards
* CPR and First Aid training
