Position: Preschool Teacher

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and care for children ranging from 6 weeks to 10 years old, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Develop and deliver engaging programs for children in alignment with the values and policies of Discovery Learning Center Preschool.
- Implement the ABEKA curriculum to create meaningful educational experiences each day.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to foster a positive, effective learning atmosphere.
- Encourage each child to see themselves as an important part of the classroom community.
- Complete 30 hours of professional development annually.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A clear understanding of Texas Minimum Standards for childcare.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
POSITION DETAILS
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM (No weekend or evening shifts).
- Hourly Pay: Starting at $12.00 per hour
- Hours: Up to 38 hours per week

- High school diploma or equivalent
