Must have a passion for helping others recover and maintain sobriety from a substance use disorder.

You can expect to:

• Address day-to-day non-therapeutic needs of clients while maintaining a calm, welcoming and professional demeanor
• Facilitate behavioral health and life skills related groups
• Provide guidance related to daily life skills (laundry, chores, cleaning, budgeting, grocery shopping)
• Assist with administration and processing of drug screens
• Assist with morning wake-up and evening bed check as necessary
• Offer real-time mentorship and guidance to clients
• Perform client supervision in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Address resident issues and enforces behavioral expectations
• Perform other duties as required

This position oversees the daily functions of the recovery house/houses in the DFW area. This position should have passion for helping others recover from a substance use disorder. This full-time position is primarily responsible for coordinating the transportation, administrative, housekeeping, and daily living activities that are designed to help individuals in early recovery, providing structure and support to establish stable long-term recovery from a substance use disorder. This position is also involved in supporting residents to develop recovery plans and teaching residents skills needed to live in recovery. The recovery house supervisor works as part of a team environment.

Requirements

Candidates must be able to effectively handle emergency/crisis situations as they arise.

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED, prefer Bachelor's Degree in Human Services-related field.

Direct experience in this role and/or 2 or more years of sustained recovery from a substance use disorder, is a plus.

Basic computer and keyboarding skills and knowledge of community resources.
