COMPANY:
Discovery Solutions is seeking applicants for an Electrical Maintenance Technician (Industrial Electrician).
LOCATION:
Brandenburg, KY
SUMMARY:
The selected candidates will ensure the success of the team by SAFELY performing Preventative and Corrective maintenance on steel mill equipment and systems, as well as proposing and implementing innovative solutions to challenges in the steel making process. Safety is the most important part of all jobs; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

· Judgment/Decision Making - Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· Associates Degree in Electrical or related field or years of experience
· 2 years’ experience in Electrical Maintenance.
· Experience Troubleshooting 480V Motors and Controls
· Able to work 4 on 4 off 12 hour shifts rotating
· Exp. with VFD's and PLC's
- Fundamental Electrical Theory knowledge
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
· The Maintenance Electrical Technician will work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts, scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
