The Field Engineer will provide 24 / 7 on-call support and assist with installation, maintenance, and optimization of LRF systems.Your Office is the World : 100% Travel Role : If you thrive in a dynamic environment and prefer the open road to a desk, this 100% travel position is for you. You will be responsible for LRF facilities in the Southeast Region.Key Responsibilities :
- Support and maintain LRF systems, including DISH, HVAC, and UPS equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting LRF systems and service offerings
- Work with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure proper system performance
- Maintain accurate As-Built records, including RF levels, site inventories, and equipment details
- Provide on-call support and manage equipment shipments and deliveries
- Evaluate LRF colocation facilities for cost-effective and efficient solutions
- Monitor RF signals and document data, maintaining records in the core repository
- Develop and manage system changes, documentation, and projects
- Drive self-development and support overall team goals
- Maintain financial awareness regarding capital expenditures and resource utilizationSkills, Experience and RequirementsEducation and Experience :
- BA / BS preferred
- 5 years in Television Engineering, Cable TV Headend, or related fieldSkills and Qualifications :
- RF collection and processing experience
- Familiarity with television reception, network cabling, and basic IP networking
- Knowledge of electrical theory and grounding practices
- Proficiency with test equipment (DVMM, signal meters)
- Basic PC and networking skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions
