The Delivery Manager for Disney Institute offers leadership support to Senior Facilitators and Facilitators responsible for crafting and delivering Disney Institute content. In this role, you will facilitate and lead a delivery team dedicated to establishing trusted partnerships with clients and participants external to The Walt Disney Company, all with the aim of enhancing customer experiences to drive improved business outcomes. Additionally, you will be assisting clients in crafting learning solutions tailored to their needs and applying Disney's Approach to achieve their specific objectives. You will be responsible for leading and providing feedback to your direct reports, placing a significant emphasis on proficiencies such as business acumen, personal leadership, project management, and stage presence.
The Delivery Manager reports to the Delivery Director and sits in Celebration, FL or Anaheim, CA.
Responsibilities:
Strategically build and cultivate client relationships to drive incremental business across multiple phases of a client professional development course or learning event.
Take ownership of, or lead others in, crafting and scheduling the delivery format and success metrics.
Conduct a comprehensive discovery and needs assessment process to identify areas for improvement in leadership excellence, employee engagement, and service quality.
Guide both yourself and your team in providing a seamless client learning experience at every stage of content delivery, from pre-program consultation to functional partner support, content customization, and facilitation.
Build program materials that align with the goals and objectives of both the client and Disney Institute.
Lead train-the-trainer sessions for colleagues to ensure the successful delivery of programs and content.
Collaborate with account management and engagement partners to develop strategies for client acquisition and sustaining the learning process.
Demonstrate proficiency in the 5 LAMMP competencies: Personal Leadership, Business Acumen, Project Management, Content Mastery, and Stage Presence.
Facilitate Disney Institute learning events as needed.
Basic qualifications:
5 years leadership experience.
Ability to effectively communicate, establish connections, and cultivate relationships with teams and partners.
Cultivate the growth of others through mentoring, feedback, and recognition.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to fast-paced, ever-evolving environments.
Work in autonomous and structured environments without direction.
Demonstrate expertise in developing content and facilitating sessions for expert business professionals.
Experience coaching individuals and teams to deliver desired client outcomes.
Strategically translate personal leadership experiences into stories that resonate with client needs, thereby enhancing the learning points of the content.
Exhibit strong project management skills, particularly in supervising resources, budgets, and deadlines.
Comfortably apply technology to enhance learning and convey crucial messages.
Experience in comprehending a client's current status, future objectives, and translating them into long-term solutions to achieve those goals.
Open to extensive travel, both domestically and internationally.
Preferred qualifications:
Operational experience in Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products (DPEP).
Leadership experience within an organization external to Disney.
Expertise in adult training, organizational development (OD), and learning and development.
Experience facilitating learning experiences to business audiences.
Possession of a professional certification or association membership relevant to improving human performance.
Proven expertise in change leadership and organizational improvement.
Required education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Preferred education:
Master’s degree or equivalent experience
The hiring range for this position in Florida is $117,200.00 to $157,100.00 per year and in California is $123,000 to $165,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
