The Disney Global Subscriber Engagement and Content Programming team is responsible for leading content planning, scheduling, on-service merchandising, slate management, and programming insights that contribute to a cohesive strategic content approach for the service.
What You Will Do
The Content Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning of on-service live events, streams, and promotional assets. This role requires cross-functional collaboration with several teams, including Content Studios, Linear Networks, Distribution Operations, International Programming, Marketing, and Communications. This position reports into the Sr. Manager, Content Planning.
Responsibilities
- Manage live events, streams, and promotional assets on Disney with designated Studios and Networks, working closely with programming teams, operations, and US-based Global and International teams to execute, track, and report on these initiatives through the lifecycle of planning to live on service.
- Responsible for maintaining daily communication and positive relationships with Studios, Networks, Operations, Marketing, Comms, and Programming teams.
- Convey overall live and streams strategies into data-informed summaries and high-level presentations for executives and internal stakeholders.
- Represent Disney Content Planning & Scheduling in meetings with a professional and enthusiastic demeanor.
- Handle any challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, and act as project manager for ad hoc requests and deliverables as they arise.
