The Quality Assurance Department provides inspection services at attractions, facilities, and shops located throughout the Disneyland Resort. Our mission is to ensure that attractions, facilities, and equipment are in compliance with engineering and regulatory requirements. Activities performed in this role are those associated with working in close collaboration with key partners to plan and schedule work and include querying and updating data in software packages, generating and revising documentation, and comparing planned work with available labor.
This is a full-time position typically working Monday through Friday.
This position reports to the Sr Mgr. Quality Assurance.
What You Will Do
Generate forecasted inspection schedules and coordinate planned work with key partners based on planned work and available labor
Share feedback to key partners regarding the results of inspections by querying software and generating reports
Evaluate newly released Engineering requirements and update applicable documentation and software
Update software based on feedback from Quality Assurance staff including adding and removing assets
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
Familiarity with Engineering drawings and familiarity with common nondestructive testing methods
Experience with mechanical systems and structures
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
Proven experience and understanding of Microsoft office software (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Work well in a team environment
Willingness to take direction and follow tasks to completion
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with the Maximo Computerized Maintenance Management System.
Experience generating work job plans.
Experience planning and scheduling work that involves activities that are performed by multiple fields reporting to multiple teams. More specifically, work on complex machinery inspection and refurbishment.
Preferred Education
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience

The hiring range for this position in California is $84,600-$103,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
