Job Overview:
Dispatch Border Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Mexico Operations and Trailer Tracker. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth cross-border transportation of freight by tracking our trailers, managing logistics operations, and coordinating with drivers, customers, and border authorities. The ideal candidate will have experience in cross-border trucking logistics, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of Mexico’s transportation regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Trailer Tracking & Monitoring: Ensure real-time tracking of trailers moving between Mexico and the U.S. by using GPS and tracking software to monitor routes, departure/arrival times, and trailer status.
- Operations Coordination: Work closely with dispatchers, drivers, and customers to provide accurate information on the movement of trailers and cargo.
- Issue Resolution: Address any trailer or shipment delays, breakdowns, or other operational issues and facilitate efficient solutions.
- Reporting: Generate daily reports on trailer status, delivery timelines, and any operational discrepancies, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Customer Service: Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding shipment tracking and status, ensuring excellent service and timely responses.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or cross-border operations (experience in Mexico preferred).
- Familiarity with GPS trailer tracking systems and software.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems in real-time.
- Knowledge of Mexico's transportation and customs regulations is a plus.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (required).
