Chief of Staff – Business Operations & Data Management

We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented Chief of Staff to oversee our business operations and data management functions. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the executive team, helping to shape the company's operations, drive efficiency, and ensure data-driven decision-making at all levels of the organization, with a strong focus on integrating cutting-edge AI solutions into our operations.

Position Overview:

As the Chief of Staff, you will be a key leader in optimizing internal processes, driving operational efficiencies, and overseeing data governance and analytics. A major part of your role will be to implement AI-driven solutions that enhance operational performance and business decision-making. You will collaborate across teams to ensure the smooth implementation of these technologies, integrating them into day-to-day processes and driving future innovation.

Responsibilities:

Business Operations

• Develop, implement, and optimize internal business processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and scalability.
• Develop and manage company database and drive process enhancement to enable our organization to be cutting edge.
• Lead cross-functional teams to execute strategic projects and initiatives that align with the company’s overall objectives.
• Implement AI-driven solutions into business operations, from automating repetitive tasks to enhancing predictive analytics for decision-making.
• Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements and operational streamlining.
• Work closely with senior leadership to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and resolve any operational bottlenecks.

Data Management & Analytics

• Oversee the collection, management, and governance of business-critical data across departments.
• Collaborate with data teams to establish and maintain data standards, integrity, and accessibility.
• Design and implement data analytics frameworks that support business decision-making and KPIs, incorporating AI tools where applicable.
• Ensure the effective use of data tools, platforms, and dashboards to empower departments with real-time, actionable insights.
• Work closely with the IT team to ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

AI Integration & Solution Implementation

• Identify opportunities for AI adoption in business operations, including automation of processes, optimization of supply chain management, and enhancement of customer experience.
• Work closely with AI and tech teams to identify, implement, and monitor AI solutions that align with company goals.
• Manage the end-to-end integration of AI technologies into business workflows, ensuring seamless deployment and ongoing optimization.
• Stay current with advancements in AI and automation technologies, recommending strategic innovations to maintain competitive advantage.

Strategic Support to Executive Team

• Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team on matters relating to business operations, data strategy, and AI integration.
• Assist in the preparation of business reports, presentations, and strategic documents for board meetings, investor updates, and other key stakeholders.
• Serve as the point of contact for all operational, data management, and AI-related matters, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional team responsible for business operations, data management, and AI integration.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and AI innovation within the organization.
• Promote collaboration between departments to leverage data insights and AI technologies for operational improvement.

Qualifications:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Operations Management, AI, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Experience

• 8 years of experience in business operations, data management, AI implementation, or a related leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale operational projects and driving process improvements, including successful AI integrations.
• Extensive experience in data analytics, data governance, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel, SQL), with a focus on AI-powered analytics platforms.
• Strong understanding of operational workflows and the ability to improve them using AI and data insights.
