Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate payroll records, reports, and files.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll tax filings and deposits.
- Handle payroll discrepancies, inquiries, and issues from employees.
- Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure accurate employee data and payroll information.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Manage payroll software and systems, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning properly.
- Provide support during audits and respond to payroll-related questions from external auditors.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Proficiency with payroll software and systems; experience with [specific payroll software] is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
