    • Position Summary

    The Senior Commercial Account Manager role combines leadership and account servicing responsibilities. In addition to handaling a book of business, this role will mentor and guide other commercial account managers, facilitate training programs, and identify and execute process improvements to elevate team performance.     Key Responsibilities

    Leadership & Mentorship :

  • Lead and serve as a resource for the commercial account management team.

    • Build and maintain a collaborative team culture, guiding account managers to excel in their roles.

  • Evaluate and enhance the agency's internal training program for commercial account managers.
  • Assist in the hiring and onboarding of new account managers.

    • Process Improvement & Communication :

  • Identify areas for improvement in workflows and processes. - Develop and execute new initiatives, ensuring seamless rollout and team adoption. - Communicate process updates and best practices effectively to the team.

    • Account Management :

  • Service a book of business, primarily consisting of large, key accounts. - Manage renewals and new business opportunities in collaboration with producers. - Ensure all service activities, including endorsements, claims, and policy reviews, are handled with accuracy and timeliness. - Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.

    • Qualifications

  • 5 years of commercial insurance account management experience within an agency is required, 7 years is preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience or demonstrated ability to mentor and guide a team.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and improve processes and workflows.
  • Proficiency with MS Office; knowledge of industry-specific software is a plus.
  • CIC or CPCU designation (Preferred).

    • Compensation

  • Pay is commensurate with experience : $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year including bonus
