What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Associate position at Distinct | North America?
You’ve handled a ton of depositions and have sat second chair at trial, but you’re still not being given the opportunity to lead your own trials.

When you join this Richmond base litigation group, from day one you’ll be encouraged to lead your own cases and sit first chair in trials.
Handling a wide range of commercial litigation matters, you’ll be joining a firm where you’ll be encouraged to develop your litigation skills through hands-on experience and mentorship.
You’ll be led by a partner regularly appearing on Super Lawyers lists, who is big on mentorship and development.
Work will be varied, covering matters including contract and business disputes, white collar investigations, breach of fiduciary duty, shareholder actions etc.
About you:
We’re looking for a litigation associate with 4-7 years of experience handling a wide range of commercial disputes.
You’ll have a keen interest in developing your litigation experience, including leading trials.
You’ll also have a license to practice in VA. DC and/or MD is also beneficial.
Salary range:
As a guide, base salary is in the region of $140-200k depending on experience.
