What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audit Manager position at Distinct?
Are you thinking about what you’ll do after the summer deadline? Pretty soon after that, you’ll be gearing up for yet another tiresome busy season. Start thinking about joining a firm where your time is truly valued.
How does this sound instead?
You’ll be joining a firm of 60 professionals with three offices across Maryland, specializing in Tax, Audit, and Accounting. This isn’t just another accounting firm; it’s a community of experts driven by a shared commitment to excellence and personal growth.
They are hiring due to growth and are always on the lookout for top talent. Some of their partners even began their careers as interns over 20 years ago, a testament to their unparalleled opportunities for career growth and development.
Even during the busiest times of the year, they never work more than 55 hours per week. The firm believes in hard work, but also in maintaining balance, ensuring that employees have time for themselves and their loved ones.
The firm’s culture is centered around its people. They prioritize learning, development, and the sharing of knowledge. But it’s not all work and no play! Outside of busy season, they know how to have fun. From game days and all-you-can-eat picnics to winery visits, crab feasts, and lively parties, they make sure to bring each office together as much as possible.
The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package, covering 100% of health insurance for employees, and also including dental, vision, and short-term and long-term disability. A 401(k) plan is also provided, along with a CPA reimbursement program that includes days off to study.
Right now, they’re looking to bring in auditors with a range of industry knowledge, if you come from a generalist background this role will be perfect for you.
