Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for outdoor work and a desire to construct and maintain landscapes that reflect our company's high standards. This role involves performing a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance and installation, constructing retaining walls, paver patios, plant installation and care, etc. The Landscape Laborer will work with hand tools, power tools and equipment to ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform light tree and shrub trimming and pruning to maintain healthy plant growth and aesthetics.
- Assist in landscape design implementation, including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.
- Install and maintain hardscape features such as retaining walls, patios and walkways
- May occasionally conduct regular lawn care activities such as mowing, edging, and fertilizing.
- Utilize tools and equipment safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Keep work areas clean and organized by properly storing tools and equipment after use.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while ensuring quality standards are met.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
- Perform various task required that arise in the best interest of the company.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in landscaping work.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques, including plant care and pest management.
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions. Lift /-80lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record is mandatory.
