We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and proactive Sales Representative for Outside Sales to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets by providing tailored roofing solutions to our customers.
Responsibilities and Daily Activities :
Conduct Roof Inspections and Assessments : Perform thorough inspections of roofs and home exteriors to determine repair or replacement needs, advising clients on the best options available.Provide Estimates and Proposals : Prepare and present detailed estimates and proposals based on assessment findings to help clients make informed decisions.Estimation : Estimate job costs using provided tools and collaborate with the team to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.Client Collaboration : Work closely with clients to understand their roofing needs, preferences, and budget, ensuring a customized and satisfactory solution.Educate Clients : Inform clients about various roofing materials, options, and benefits to help them choose the best solution for their property.Sales Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and project details in CRM software (e.g., Acculynx), ensuring all tasks and job milestones are updated daily.Lead Management : Enter lead sheets promptly, respond to new leads quickly, and nurture existing leads through regular follow-ups and multiple touchpoints.Sales Execution : Engage in outside sales activities, including canvassing neighborhoods to identify new business opportunities and generating new leads.Project Management : Manage the sales process from lead generation to project completion, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and obtaining positive reviews.Contract Negotiation : Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients to maximize sales and profitability.Team Collaboration : Actively participate in team meetings, share insights, and collaborate with colleagues to achieve collective sales goals.Sales Funnel Management : Monitor and progress job milestones, ensuring the accuracy of documentation, and label jobs correctly under the appropriate work / trade type.Client Relationship Maintenance : Maintain strong relationships with clients before, during, and after job completion to encourage repeat business and referrals.Required Skills and Qualification :
Sales Expertise : Proven experience in outside sales or business development, preferably in the roofing industry, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Customer Service Skills : Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, maintain relationships, and deliver a positive client experience.Negotiation Skills : Strong ability to close deals, negotiate effectively, and secure profitable contracts.Account Management : Proficiency in managing client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and fostering long-term relationships.Analytical Skills : Ability to inspect client properties, assess roofing conditions, and provide informed advice on repair or replacement options.Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with clients, presenting proposals, and collaborating with the sales team.Time Management : Efficient in managing tasks, meeting deadlines, and maintaining punctuality in a fast-paced environment.Personal Presentation : Adherence to company uniform policies and self-presentation guidelines, ensuring a professional appearance at all times.Team Participation : Willingness to participate actively in team meetings, share knowledge, and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.Technical Knowledge : Familiarity with roofing systems, materials, and industry standards, enabling accurate assessments and customer education. (Preferred)Market Knowledge : In-depth understanding of roofing materials, market trends, competitor analysis, and customer needs. (Preferred)Physical Capability : Able to lift 50 lbs and be mobile in office and job site settings as needed. Frequently required to stand and occasionally working at elevated heights and climbing ladders.Willing to learn and improve.Schedule :
Full-time, 40 to 50 hours per week8 to 10-hour shifts, Monday to FridayWeekends as neededIn-person role at our office in Pompano Beach, FL 33064 and On the road daily travel to client (Relocation required before starting work).Education :
High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience :
