Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Control Engineer with a proven track record in designing and programming control systems for automated machinery. This role demands a dynamic individual who is adept in both technical skills and project management, ready to take on challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and program control systems using established protocols and ensure compliance with UL 508 standards.
- Perform safety circuit design and programming with safety PLCs, and conduct risk assessments to implement appropriate safety devices.
- Prepare comprehensive build specifications and document control systems for various automated equipment.
- Engage in electrical and pneumatic design, machine PLC programming, and oversee machine debugging and certification processes.
- Travel up to 25% of the time, primarily domestically with potential future international trips, to assist with the installation and startup of equipment at client sites.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in PLC, HMI, robotics, AutoCAD, motion control, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Experience with Studio 5000, RS 500, FactoryTalk View, and other related Allen Bradley software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
