Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Risk Management Associate to join our team at Distribution & Transportation. This role will play a crucial part in supporting the Vendor Inbound Compliance (VIC) Program and other procurement initiatives within our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Brands, Warehouses, and the Supplier community, to ensure seamless collaboration and effective execution of VIC and Preferred programs.
- Monitor and manage program concerns, working closely with Brands, Supply Chain, and Warehouse Operations to drive results and improve vendor performance.
- Utilize procurement programs as a means of accountability, facilitating rapid resolution and vendor performance improvement.
- Collaborate with the Preferred Lead and organization to assess alternative methodologies and industry trends, providing strategic direction and vision.
- Analyze vendor performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), creating period reports to hold vendors accountable and inform executive updates.
- Work with analyst teams to confirm assumptions, leverage data, and deliver actionable insights.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of Inbound Logistics components, including Store Operations, Warehouse Management, IT, Finance, Category management, Distribution & Transportation, and Forecasting & Replenishment.
- Strong analytical skills, troubleshooting abilities, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Advanced Excel and presentation skills, with experience developing data-driven analytical models.
- Leadership skills: Proven project management expertise, conceptualizing, planning, estimating, and executing projects.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships and lead groups effectively.
