District 19 CSB located in Petersburg, VA has an exciting opportunity for a PRN Residential Specialist. The Residential Specialist is responsible for providing supportive services to individuals with serious mental illness living at the Ellis Square Apartment Program in Dinwiddie, Virginia.
Residential Specialist is responsible for assisting consumers with daily living, medication management, general community support, coordinating case management services and skills development. Implements, documents and monitors objectives, goals, behavioral interventions and consumer progress and preference according to information identified on the individual services plan.
Minimum of one year of experience providing supports to people with serious mental illness. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Willingness and ability to pass Standard First Aid, CPR, Medication Administration and agency mandated training, basic computer skills.
Willingness to work overnights, weekends, and holiday is required. Hours may vary each pay period and applicant will not be guaranteed a specific number of hours. Hours worked will be contingent on agency needs and/or full-time staff availability.
Salary:Position is a Grade H-C3. Hourly range is $20.53 to $23.10 per hour.

Position requires valid Driver’s License in state of residence with a point balance of -6 or higher, and an extensive pre-employment background check and drug screening.
