What are the responsibilities and job description for the SUD Re-Entry Coordinator position at District 19 Community Services Board?
Summary:
This position primarily serves to provide guidance, direction and support to Re-entry Counselors and provide direct services as a part of the Jail Reentry Team which includes overseeing re-entry support program and services, assisting clinical supervisor with developing best practices and policies that promote and improve SUD education and treatment services to individuals confined in secure jail settings.
Additionally, this position will develop, design and modify treatment service plans for individuals receiving services based on their identified needs. To ensure the efficiency of the services provided, this position will monitor and assess the effectiveness of services and communicate and consult with Jail Services Staff including other health care providers.
Additional duties include providing direct services to include individual and group services to consumers in community and criminal justice settings who live with substance use and co-occurring disorders and providing mental status exams, clinical assessments, SUD SBI screenings, and person-centered treatment plans based on the evaluation and other psychological screenings and testing.
Master’s degree in human services field or related field required, minimum three (3) years position related experience working with children and adolescents, experience with consumers in the criminal justice system, and experience with crisis intervention required up to five (5) years preferred; additional experience with consumers in the criminal justice system, and experience with crisis intervention preferred.
Licensed as LPC or LCSW required
CSAC preferred
Additional experience in group/individual SA work in public agency preferred; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge and abilities.
Valid VA driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Salary:
Position is a Grade C9, starting salary range is $57,967 - $65,211 annually.

Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
