Salary
Pay is based on licensure, experience, and qualifications. Limited License starting wage is $28.04/hr, while Fully Licensed starts at $31.04/hr.
Job Description
This position involves working independently and collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of services. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify sources of issues or problems and determining appropriate paths to optimum mental, emotional, and physical health.
- Developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with the adolescent health team.
- Providing short-term, goal-oriented counseling to address identified needs and explore available options, involving family members as necessary.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess a Master's degree from an accredited school of social work, counseling, or a related program. A Licensed Clinical Master of Social Work or Licensed Professional Counselor by the State of Michigan and eligibility for third-party insurance payments are also required. Two-three years of experience providing adolescent/family social work in a community health setting is preferred.
