We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and dedicated Enrollment Specialist to join our team at Alpha WellCare, a leading provider of mental health services. The Enrollment Specialist will be responsible for managing the enrollment and intake processes for individuals seeking mental health services. This position plays a key role in ensuring that patients have a smooth transition into care, from initial contact to full enrollment in treatment programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and review intake forms and insurance information to verify eligibility and ensure that all documentation is complete and accurate.
Coordinate with various departments (clinical, billing, insurance) to ensure timely and accurate enrollment into mental health programs.
Provide information to clients about available services and answer questions regarding the intake and enrollment process.
Schedule appointments and assist clients with understanding required documentation.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance verification processes, coverage options, and eligibility criteria.
Follow up with clients and providers as needed to resolve any issues or gaps in enrollment.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including confidentiality and privacy standards (HIPAA).
Assist with administrative tasks, such as maintaining enrollment databases, preparing reports, and ensuring all client information is documented properly.
Collaborate with mental health professionals to coordinate service delivery for new clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
1-2 years of experience in an administrative, healthcare, or social services role, ideally in a mental health or healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of insurance processes, Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance plans.
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and other client management tools.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex processes clearly to clients.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Sensitivity and understanding of mental health issues, with a strong commitment to helping others.
Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of mental health services and treatment options.
Experience working with diverse populations.
