What are the responsibilities and job description for the Support Technician I position at District Office?
JOB DESCRIPTION: Ensure students are receiving the most up to date access to supplemental support in reading, math, and science.
QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Ability to keep accurate records. Ability to follow instructions and to complete detailed work in a responsible manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure student access to devices by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance.
- Provide support to the educational process through the use of technology.
- Maintain a current physical and digital inventory.
- Support technology initiatives by analyzing work orders, managing related duties, conducting tests, and resolving problems.
- Serve as a public relations liaison in answering telephones and assisting personnel who desire information and/or services.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Independently collaborate with applicable stakeholders to support supplemental educational programs.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism with all stakeholders to establish a positive rapport.
- All other duties as assigned.
SALARY: Full-Time twelve-month position, beginning salary Level 29, employee benefits in accordance with Board Policies.
EVALUATION: Performance to be evaluated in accordance with Board Policy on the evaluation of support personnel.
