QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience as a receptionist preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Ability to use office technology including multi-line phone system, MS Office  programs, Windows based programs, Google Suite, copier, calculator, printers, typewriter and facsimile
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Willingness to learn duties/responsibilities of all District Support employees

 

RESPONSIBILIITES:

  • Open District Support Center every morning by 8:00 a.m. and close the office every afternoon at 5:00 p.m.
  • Answer all incoming telephone calls and route messages to proper individuals or departments
  • Greet and assist individuals visiting Canyon ISD’s central administration offices
  • Organize and sort incoming and outgoing mail
  • Assist the Athletic Department with assigned tasks
  • Assist the Human Resources Department with assigned tasks
  • Handle confidential information
  • Other duties as assigned
