TITLE: District Maintenance
REPORTS TO: Maintenance Supervisor
JOB GOAL: To help maintain the physical school plants' condition of operating excellence so that full educational use of it may be made at all times.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintenance, repair and construction of district buildings and equipment as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Crew Chief.
- Work in one or more building maintenance trades.
- Assist other maintenance personnel with a variety of maintenance, repair and construction tasks.
- Supervise and assist in maintaining district tools and machinery.
- Operate various types of maintenance machinery, tools and equipment.
- Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Superintendent.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Demonstrates aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate
and acceptable.
- Holds a valid Kentucky Driver’s License.
- Holds a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Satisfactory completion of State mandated health examination.
Evaluation:
- Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Terms of Employment:
- Salary commensurate with the Russell Independent Schools Classified Salary Schedule
