Professional Development Facilitator
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced teacher to facilitate 1-2 hour professional development sessions for fellow educators. This position offers an opportunity to share expertise, foster growth, and contribute to the development of teaching practices within our school community to support an increase of student engagement..
1 hour PD session = 2 hour prep
2 hour PD session = 4 hour prep
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engaging, interactive, and informative professional development sessions for colleagues.
- Collaborate on session topics, ensuring they align with the needs of the staff.
- Provide support and resources to enhance educators' skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Current teaching experience with a strong understanding of pedagogy.
- Ability to communicate effectively and lead professional development workshops.
- Passion for supporting colleagues' growth and development.
Compensation: $40 per hour for prep time
