Responsibilities:

Meets regularly with department members to conduct department activities such as common planning, curriculum review, budget preparation, data analysis, and collaboration.

Attends monthly Department Chair Meetings with the principal.

Shares feedback on curriculum, instructional, assessment, and student support practices with department members through collaborative professional development activities.

Maintains an inventory of department resources.

Submits the department budget to the principal with:
-
Annually reviews with the department and updates the Program of Studies.

Recommends course assignments to the principal.
Qualifications:
-
Minimum of 5 years teaching experience
-
Masters degree preferred
-
Hold current DESE licensure
-
Record of student success
-
This is a 190-day position including awards ceremonies and graduation (prorated for the school year)

Stipend based on 10% of base salary (article XXVII of the Teacher/LEA Contract)
