ELD Bilingual Paraprofessionals

Vacancies exist for ELD Bilingual Paraprofessionals throughout Norristown Area School District at the Secondary Level at the following location:

• Blockson Middle School (1)
• Norristown Area High School (1)

Duties:                                                           

• Provides instructional and clerical support to teachers
• Supports and assists students with the completion of assigned tasks either individually or in small groups
• Provides verbal and written translation services in support of the educational program at the assigned school
• Performs related duties as required

Requirements:

• Bilingual - Spanish required 
• Experience working with children
• Knowledge of community resources and agencies
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong organization skills
• Ability to collaborate with others

Ability to translate verbally and in writing (English and Spanish)

2024-2025 Hourly Rate:

$21.11-$27.62 

*Dependent upon years of related experience and PA Certification*

Salary : $21 - $28
