What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Jumpstart Plus Paraprofessionals K-12 position at DISTRICT?
The Shaker Heights City School District’s summer extended-learning program, Jumpstart Plus, is for students in need of additional support in Math and Literacy. Students will be identified using a multi-factor process of data points, and teacher recommendations.
The district seeks instructional staff and paraprofessional support to provide an evidence-based curriculum; enrichment will be embedded in the program. Programs will be offered to students in grades K - 12.
Staff assigned must have a certificate and/or license for that grade level or content area.
Jumpstart programs run from June 16 - July 17; Monday through Thursday (no classes held on June 19).
The rate for paraprofessional support is $18.70/hour.
Hours are 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
