What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Jumpstart Plus Teachers K-5 position at DISTRICT?
The Shaker Heights City School District’s summer extended-learning program, Jumpstart Plus, is for students in need of additional support in Math and Literacy. Students will be identified using a multi-factor process of data points, teacher recommendations. The district seeks instructional staff to provide evidence-based curriculum; enrichment will be embedded in the program.
Programs will be offered to students in grades K-5. Staff assigned must have a certificate and/or license for that grade level or content area.
Jumpstart programs run from June 16 - July 17; Monday through Thursday (no classes held on June 19).
Rate of pay for teachers is $34.58/hour plus a stipend for planning ($200).
Hours are 8:00 am - 12:45 pm
