We are currently seeking a talented Document Controller to join our dynamic team in Hanover, MD (with the anticipation of transitioning to a field office in Baltimore, MD in the near future). In this role, you would have the chance to serve as a member of the Document Control Team for the Key Bridge Rebuild Project in the Baltimore area. This is an initial one (1) year contract with an opportunity for extension.

Responsibilities:
• Support and assist the management of engineering documents in accordance with government regulations and company procedures on various projects.
• Responsible for processing internal and external distribution of engineering documentation on incoming and outgoing workflows, and preparing transmittals for document distribution, as directed.
• Other duties include reviewing and/or conducting quality checks of documents, as needed; configuring, updating and maintaining engineering document management systems and permissions; updating and maintaining various distribution matrixes
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, information management, information technology, data management, or computer information systems is preferred, though not required.
• 1 years' experience, requires advanced knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Detail oriented with effective organization and coordination skills
• Ability to:
o Identify and utilize the correct tools, systems and techniques to index, file and control engineering documents
o Remain flexible when dealing with changing requirements
o Multi-task and work proactively to resolve issues
o Work independently
o Effectively collaborate with others in a team-based environment
