Job Title:
Digital Marketing Specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking an analytical, and results-driven Digital Marketing Specialist with website experience to join our team managing a large portfolio of restaurants and hotels out of a Knoxville office. This role is responsible for collaborating, implementing, and managing online marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, social media performance, drive website traffic, generate leads, and improve overall financial performance through digital presence. You’ll be joining a team of designers, brand specialists, and social media managers. We are looking to grow our team within the digital marketing space with an individual who brings relevant experience, comprehensive understanding of digital marketing tools and strategies, and a passion for personal and professional growth. Experience in hospitality marketing is a plus. If analytics and user behavior is something you enjoy geeking out on, or meta ads and google ad words is your strength, we want you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
Develop and execute digital marketing strategies aligned with business goals. Identify target audiences and design marketing campaigns to engage and convert them.
- Campaign Management:
- Collaborate and manage online campaigns across various channels, including search engines, social media, and email.
- Monitor and optimize campaigns to improve ROI and key performance metrics.
- Content Creation and Management:
- Coordinate with our content creators and brand specialists to produce high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content.
- Manage website and social media platforms, ensuring timely updates and consistency in branding.
- Create SEO rich blog content on a regular basis that engages our customer base, answers questions, and adheres to current search engine optimization standards.
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM):
- Conduct keyword research, on-page optimization, and link-building strategies to improve organic search rankings.
- Manage paid search campaigns (Google Ads, Bing Ads) to maximize reach and conversions.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Track, analyze, and report the performance of digital marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or HubSpot.
- Provide actionable insights to improve campaign effectiveness.
Wordpress Development and Management: Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
- Manage website performance, security, and updates to ensure optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to WordPress, hosting, and integrations.
Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness. Implement and manage content updates, including text, images, and multimedia elements.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to enhance website UX/UI.
Monitor website analytics and implement improvements based on user behavior. Ensure website backups, security patches, and compliance with best practices.
- Email Marketing:
Optimize email campaigns to nurture leads and increase customer retention. Ensure compliance with applicable email marketing regulations like GDPR and CAN-SPAM.
Industry Trends and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies.
- Identify opportunities to adopt innovative strategies to gain a competitive edge. Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, or a related field.
- Proven experience in digital marketing, preferably in a similar role of 2 years.
- Proven experience building and maintaining websites on Wordpress or equivalent platform, preferably in a similar role of 2 years.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools including Google Ads, Google Analytics, SEO tools, and social media platform ad campaigns
- Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, PPC, and social media advertising.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Preferred: Certification in Google Ads, HubSpot, or similar tools
- Preferred: Experience with meta search advertising like Google Hotel Price Ads Soft Skills:
