Job Description
Provides the director and managers of sales and marketing with administrative and clerical support including word-processing, typing, e-mailing, filing, data-entry, faxing, copying, corresponding, answering telephones, processing mail, taking notes, ordering supplies and/or assisting guests
Primary Responsibilities
- Respond to client calls and special requests
- Obtain final details, dates, times, and hotel room and meeting room requirements from new clients
- Administrative duties such as typing proposals, letters, contracts, entering rooming lists etc.
- Assist with coordinating outside vendors as needed
- Provide guest room and property tours to prospective groups
- Maintain calendars
- Assist with traces in Hotel Sales Pro
- Assist with mailing (Brochures, contracts, requests etc..)
- Handle other duties as assigned by Group Sales manager and Director of Sales
Requirements
- Must be willing to work holidays and weekends.
- Basic computer knowledge required
- Friendly, outgoing personality and professional appearance required.
- Hospitality experience and/or customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and positive attitude required.
