Responsibilities

As a Sr. Nursing Home Administrator at Diversicare, you will:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of your primary center, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as Diversicare’s policies and procedures.
  • Provide oversight and support to other assigned centers within the region, fostering consistent application of best practices and adherence to our high standards of care.
  • Champion resident safety and well-being by serving as the Abuse Coordinator and Grievance Official for your primary center, ensuring prompt and thorough investigation of any concerns.
  • Drive continuous improvement through an effective Quality Assurance and Process Improvement (QAPI) program.
  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan that meets the needs of the community and marketplace.
  • Foster strong relationships with residents, families, physicians, and community partners.
  • Act as the center compliance officer, ensuring adherence to our code of conduct and commitment to integrity.
  • Collaborate with regional and corporate support teams to achieve center and regional goals.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or a related healthcare field preferred.
  • Active and unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator License.
  • Proven experience in the post-acute care setting, multi-site experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial management skills.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours based on the needs of the center and region.
