Responsibilities
- Conduct land surveys using advanced surveying equipment and techniques to determine property boundaries, topography, and land features.
- Utilize software such as Carlson, ArcGIS, and Civil 3D for drafting and analyzing survey data.
- Perform research data collection to gather relevant information about land parcels.
- Prepare detailed reports and maps based on survey findings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to support project development.
- Apply mathematical principles including trigonometry, algebra, and geometry in calculations related to surveying tasks.
- Maintain equipment and ensure it is calibrated for precise measurements.
Experience
- Proven experience in land surveying or a related field is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to team members and clients.
- A degree or certification in Land Surveying or a related discipline is beneficial.
