Job Summary/Objective
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Program Manager to help drive key initiatives that enhance efficiency, optimize processes, and support our mission of protecting lives at Diversified Fall Protection. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, relationship/account management, strategic planning, and leadership within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Management: oversee the planning, execution, and completion of multiple construction projects for strategic and national clients, ensuring they align with the company's strategic goals.
- Relationship Management: cultivate, maintain and grow relationships with designated clients to deliver exceptional customer experience and create opportunities for future business.
- Strategic Planning: develop and implement strategic plans to optimize project delivery, resource allocation, and overall program performance.
- Stakeholder Management: build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: successfully engage and work with cross functional teams, such as engineering, supply chain, and production, to meet project objectives and timelines.
- Risk Management: identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Budget Management: monitor and control project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met.
- Team Leadership: lead and mentor project managers and other team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Performance Monitoring: track and report on program performance, using data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Financial: coordinate with the Finance team to administer project invoicing and maintain project financial history and revenue projections.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in project/program management within the construction industry.
- Skills: Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects, field construction means and methods background, strong strategic planning and organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Certifications: PMP or similar certification is preferred, OSHA/ANSI Fall Protection standards knowledge.
- Clearances: Valid Driver's License & Evidence of Ability to Insure, Criminal Justice Background Check (state and federal), Drug Test (5-panel), E-Verify.
Work Environment
This position works in an indoor office setting. This position may however be required to enter a shop area or perform site visits periodically in which safety, environmental and health concerns may demand constant attention.
