Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement training programs for new and existing employees covering insurance knowledge and Applied Epic.
- Conduct quality assurance audits for policies, certificates, and Epic-related functions to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with HR and DII University to create ongoing educational programs and refresher courses.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in Epic and client documents, working with management to develop proactive training solutions.
- Design and update training materials tailored to different learning styles—visual, auditory, reading/writing, and kinesthetic.
- Stay current with industry trends and continuously improve training and auditing processes.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment for employees and clients.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience using Applied Epic, with strong knowledge of commercial insurance. Experience in personal lines and benefits is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), strong written and verbal communication skills, and excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Training Expertise: Knowledge of effective training techniques and adult learning principles.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with the ability to ensure accuracy and quality in documentation and training programs.
- Licensing: Must hold a Maryland Property & Casualty license.
